About the university
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is a central university headquartered in New Delhi. It was set up to make higher education reachable for people who cannot attend a regular campus, whether because of work, family, distance or age.
Learners study through printed and digital material, online and radio-television support, and counselling sessions at study centres. Assessment combines assignments with term-end examinations.
